India U19 vs England U19: Match Preview
Indian skipper Ayush Mhatre lit up the first Test at Beckenham with a century after an otherwise average tour. His hundred helped India post a massive total of 540/10. In response, England put up a strong fight to keep the deficit under 100 runs. India then added another 240 runs in their second innings, setting a target of over 300. England's batting unit fought hard, but the match eventually ended in a draw.
The star of the series, young Vaibhav Suryavanshi, scored a fifty in the second innings, but truly made headlines when he became the youngest U19 player to take a wicket, picking up 2 wickets in the first innings.
Heading into this match, both U19 sides have made a name for themselves with the bat, but in this final Test, they'll be expected to step up with the ball to try and produce a result. India, having already won the ODI series 3–2, will be eyeing a Test series victory before heading back home. Meanwhile, England will be aiming to level the tour with a win in the final Test.
