The West Indies Masters and England Masters will cross swords against one another in the fifth match of the International Masters League T20 at Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai.
The West Indies march into this contest on the back of an outstanding win against Australia Masters. Chasing 217 runs, the side from the Caribbean did not panic at all and looked in complete control throughout the innings. Lendl Simmons and Dwayne Smith starred in the run-chase for them. While Smith gave the West Indies a swift start with his 29-ball 51, Simmons took his side home with an exceptional knock of 94* runs that came off 44 deliveries.
Earlier in the match, the West Indies bowlers faced an almost similar hammering. However, for them, Ashley Nurse and Ravi Rampaul did a terrific job, claiming three and two scalps respectively.
On the other hand, England Masters were blown away by India Masters in their campaign-opener. Batting first, the English side, led by Eoin Morgan, kept on losing wickets and ultimately finished at 132-8. The bowling half also did not pan out the way they would have liked as they lost the game by nine wickets in only the 12th over of the second innings.

WI vs ENG Pitch Report
The pitch at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy in Navi Mumbai has been a batting paradise. Most of the encounters here have been high-scoring. Two of the four matches played here have seen scores of well over 200. In the last game, Sri Lanka Masters chased 181 runs in just 17.2 overs.
