MS Dhoni and Sandeep Reddy Vanga Collaborate in Blockbuster Parody Ad

MS Dhoni, the legendary cricketer fondly known as "Captain Cool," has once again captured the spotlight, this time not on the cricket field but in a wildly entertaining advertisement for EMotorad, an electric bicycle brand.

Released just days before the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, the ad features Dhoni collaborating with filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the mastermind behind the blockbuster movie Animal. This unexpected pairing has sent fans into a frenzy, blending cricket stardom with Bollywood flair in a way only Dhoni can pull off.

In the ad, Dhoni channels the intense energy of Ranbir Kapoor’s character, Ranvijay Singh, from Animal. Sporting long hair reminiscent of Kapoor’s rugged look in the film, Dhoni steps out of a sleek black car, exuding his signature swagger. However, in a hilarious twist, instead of wielding guns like in the movie, an electric bike is pulled out from the trunk.

The director praises Dhoni’s performance, saying, “Mind-blowing, fantastic, maza aa gaya sir. Log seetiyan marenge bilkul,” predicting that audiences will whistle in delight.

Dhoni, staying in character, delivers one of Animal’s iconic lines—“Sunayi de raha hai mujhe, behra nahi hoon main” (I can hear, I’m not deaf), leaving fans in splits. The ad concludes with a black-and-white recreation of the film’s dramatic climax.

Dhoni is set to return to action in the Indian Premier League 2025. As the competition nears its commencement, Dhoni is sweating hard in the nets and the intra-squad matches, where he could be seen in his midas touch with the bat.

Notably, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will begin their campaign on March 23 against Mumbai Indians (MI) at their home ground. The Ruturaj Gaikwad-led team finished at the fifth position on the points table last season and missed out on the playoffs after losing to Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB).
