The Board has announced a special prize for the Indian team and support staff after an emphatic win against Pakistan to secure their record 9th Asia Cup title in Dubai.
BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia addressed the press following the victory, announcing a cash award of ₹21 crore for the players and support staff.
"It was an extraordinary victory and therefore, as a part of celebrations, BCCI has announced a cash award of Rs 21 crore in favour of the players and the support staff who are part of the Indian team in the Asia Cup," Saikia told PTI.

As of now, no details have been shared regarding how the prize money will be distributed among the players and staff.
"That money will be distributed, and this is a big reward for our team, the Indian cricket board, and the people of India. We are extremely proud of our cricketers and the support staff for their superb performance in Dubai," he added.

BCCI’s Powerful Message on Social Media
On social media, the BCCI announced the prize money with a strong, punchy caption that reflected India’s dominance:
“Three blows. 0 response. Asia Cup Champions. Message delivered. (Rs) 21 crores prize money for the team and support staff.”
This was a reference to India’s clean sweep against Pakistan during the tournament.
Board Vice President Rajeev Shukla also celebrated the victory online, praising the team’s undefeated run:
“The undefeated champions of ASIA. Congratulations Team India on a dominating win and 3-0 against Pak. Marvellous display by Tilak Verma and @imkuldeep18. A great show under pressure,” he tweeted.
