The Emirates posted 146/8 in their 20 overs. It turned out to be a well below-par score. MIE skipper Nicholas Pooran top-scored with 42. Tim Banton scored 29 and Will Jacks scored 18. There was hardly any contribution from the lower-order. Tim Southee the Sharjah skipper took two for 24.
The Warriors batters chased down the score with seven balls to spare. Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Tim Seifert scored 40 each and anchored the run chase. Johnson Charles (36) and Jason Roy (26) played handy knocks as well. The MIE bowlers did not pose any challenge whatsoever for the Sharjah batters.
