India's Abhishek Sharma has reclaimed the top spot in the ICC T20I batting rankings. This achievement follows his remarkable century scored off just 38 balls in Wellington, which powered India to a series victory against New Zealand. Sharma's performance displaced his teammate Ishan Kishan from the leading position.
In Test cricket, South Africa's Marco Jansen has made a significant leap, becoming the No. 1 ranked Test bowler and all-rounder for the first time.
