Former India cricketer Aakash Chopra has declared KL Rahul the "most versatile cricketer on the planet," commending his exceptional adaptability across all three formats of the game. Chopra noted Rahul's ability to seamlessly transition between roles, whether defending resolutely in Test matches in challenging conditions or scoring rapidly in the IPL.

Chopra particularly highlighted Rahul's recent performance in the third ODI against the West Indies on October 3rd. Asked to perform a difficult role batting at number five or six, Rahul responded with a sensational unbeaten 129 off 87 balls, rescuing India from a difficult position of 4-2 and helping them post a formidable total.
