Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma finalised their divorce on Thursday, February 20. Their divorce happened after a mutual understanding after accepting that various issues were unresolved between the couple.
As per a report by ABP News, Chahal and Dhanashree are finally divorced after 18 months. The two have had compatibility issues for a long time, and now the celebrity couple have decided to get separated.
The ABP News reported further saying that the judge had a chat with the couple for about 45 minutes trying to counsel both of them. However,  after the counselling session, the judge was informed that both wanted to part ways with mutual consent. The divorce happened at the family court in Bandra.
Chahal, Dhanashree React After Mutually Getting Divorced
ABP News has now finally revealed the reason behind the divorce of the celebrity couple. They reported that the couple had compatibility issues as the primary cause of their separation. Both Chahal and Dhanashree took to their official Instagram account to let their fans know about their mutual divorce.
“God has protected me more times than I can count. So I can only image the times I've been rescued that I don't even know about. Thank you, god for always being there even when I don't know it. Amen," Chahal wrote on his Instagram account.
Dhanashree Verma, now Chahal's former wife also took to her Instagram account. She titled her story "From Stressed To Blessed" speaking about how she navigated her journey through to her divorce.
"From Stressed To Blessed – Isn’t it amazing how God can turn our worries and trials into blessings? If you’re stressing about something today, know that you have a choice. You can either keep worrying, or you can surrender it all to God and choose to pray about everything. There is power in having faith that God can work all things together for your good" wrote Dhanashree in her official Instagram handle.
Talking about Yuzvendra Chahal, he is currently out of the Indian team and will make a comeback in the IPL 2025 for Punjab Kings this season. The franchise bagged him for 18 crores in the mega auction.
