Indian skipper Rohit Sharma and the Indian team has already landed in Dubai for the Champions Trophy 2025. The Men in Blue are also down to their preparations and are toiling hard ahead of their first match against Bangladesh on February 20.

After Bangladesh, India takes on Pakistan in the mother of all battles on February 23 followed by their final league match against New Zealand on February 23.

India will play all their league matches in Dubai and will also play the semi-final in Dubai if they make it that far. For now, the Indian team is concentrating hard on their practice sessions.

In between the practice sessions, Rohit Sharma took some time out to crack some jokes with a net bowler who was bowling searing yorkers at him. Awais Ahmad was the name of the bowler who was testing Rohit with his sharp yorkers.

After the net session, Rohit Sharma cracked a joke saying that he thought that the youngster was looking to break his toes. "Aap humare pair todhne ka koshish kar rahe the (You were trying to break my leg)," Rohit said jokingly.

The Indian team looks well-prepared for the Champions Trophy 2025. They recently whitewashed England in an ODI series at home in the lead-up to this tournament. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli both found some form in the series. While Rohit scored a century in Cuttack, Virat Kohli scored a fifty in the series. Runs came from the bat of Shubman Gill, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, Hardik Pandya and Axar Patel as well.

The Indian bowling attack will be without Jasprit Bumrah who is ruled out of the tournament with a back injury. However, they still have good arsenal with Arshdeep Singh and Mohd Shami as the two pacers with Hardik as the third seamer option. India are banking on their five-man spin attack to win the games strategically in Dubai. Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Washington Sundar and Varun Chakravarty make up the Indian spin attack.
