Who’s Notebook Next in the Notebook? Digvesh Rathi’s Reaction to Virat Kohli Question Goes Viral

Before Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) faced Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the final league game of the Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025), Digvesh Rathi had a fun interaction with fans during a Q&A session.

While Digvesh has done enough to be in the limelight for his performance in IPL 2025, it is his notebook celebration that has been a talking point.

Every time the leg-spinner takes a wicket, he takes out an imaginary notebook and writes the batter’s name in it. Some fans love the energy and spice Digvesh Rathi’s antics bring to the match, while others feel it is a bit too much, especially because it has become so repetitive.

Digvesh Rathi’s Viral Smile at Virat Kohli Question

As LSG players gathered for a Q&A session at the Ekana Stadium, a fan asked Digvesh, "Agla number kiska?" (Who’s next in the notebook?).

Another quickly added, "Kohli!" The crowd joined in, chanting Virat Kohli’s name loudly.

Digvesh just smiled and shook his head. He did not say anything, but his expression said enough. The clip of the moment quickly went viral across social media.

Notably, the leggie’s notebook celebration has not come without consequences. He has already been fined thrice this season by the IPL for breaching the Code of Conduct. After a heated send-off against Abhishek Sharma of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Digvesh was suspended for one match. That was his third offence.

Digvesh Rathi’s Performance in IPL 2025

Despite the controversy, Rathi has quietly put together a good season. He has claimed 14 wickets in 12 matches and kept things tight with an economy rate of 8.19. His bowling action, with a short run-up and a quick, high-arm release, has made him tricky to face.

As LSG get ready to face RCB on Tuesday, it will be interesting to see the duel between Digvesh and Kohli.
