It is that time of the year when fans and cricket experts fight with loved ones and show their full support to their favorite teams. It's time for Women's Premier League (WPL) 2025 season three, which will kick start on February 14. Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will play season three's inaugural match against Gujarat Giants. Unlike the last WPL season, which was played in only two venues, this five-team tournament will be staged in four different venues.
Delhi Capitals is the only team which wont play any home matches. 20 group matches will be played, with two knock-out games leading to the grand finale on March 15.
WPL 2025 Venues
This season, the matches will be spread across four iconic cricket stadiums in India:

- Bengaluru – M Chinnaswamy Stadium
- Lucknow – Ekana Cricket Stadium

WPL 2025 Format
The third season of WPL will follow the same format as the previous two seasons. The league will follow a round-robin format where each of the five teams will play every other team twice. The teams will earn two points for a win, while a tie and no result will fetch them one point each. After the league stage, the team that tops the points table will advance directly through to the final. The second and third-positioned teams will then face each other in the eliminator. The winner will play the table toppers in the final.
