Mumbai Indians women are taking on the UP Warriorz in match 11 of the WPL 2025 at the Chinnaswamy stadium in Bengaluru currently. Mumbai Indians captain Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss and opted to bowl first.
Mumbai Indians and UP Warriorz are both heading into this crucial contest after winning their previous two games. Mumbai won against Gujarat Giants and RCB Women while UP Warriorz beat Delhi Capitals by 33 runs and managed to win the Super Over against RCB Women.
So far in this game, UP Warriorz have got a good start after being asked to bat first. Opener Kiran Navgire (1 off 3) was dismissed in the very first over. Since then Grace Harris ( 45 off 26) and Vrinda Dinesh (25 off 23) have added 79 runs for the second wicket. Harris was dismsised by Amelia Kerr in the 10th over of the Warriorz innings.
MI, UP Warriorz Have Won Their Last Two Games
This is the first time these two teams are playing each other this season. Both teams seems to have found the winning momentum as they won their last two games. However, the winning run will end for one of these two teams.
The Warriorz after their Super Over win against RCB will be confident against the Mumbai side who have seasoned campaigners in their lineup. The Warriorz are without their regular skipper Alyssa Healy in this WPL season. They are led by Indian all-rounder Deepti Sharma.
