The Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba, Trinidad, is a multi-purpose venue that opened in 2017. It is situated in the southern part of Trinidad, close to the San Fernando city centre, right next to the Sir Solomon Hochoy Highway. The ground is around two kilometres from the old Guaracara Park ground in Pointe-a-Pierre.
The stadium is named in honour of former West Indies captain and legendary figure Brian Lara. It has a capacity of 15,000 spectators with a mix of seats and grassy viewing areas. It has two ends - South End & North End.
The original plan was for the venue to stage warm-up games during the ODI World Cup in 2007 and later operate as a cricket academy. But construction delays meant it was not ready in time, so those matches were moved to the Frank Worrell Field at UWI St Augustine instead.
