The Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, also known as the MCA Stadium, was established in the year 2012 in Gahunje village on the outskirts of Pune. It is a two-tier seating stadium with a capacity of approximately 37,000–45,000 spectators. MCA Stadium serves as the official host of the Maharashtra state cricket team and acts as the headquarters of the Maharashtra Cricket Association. 

This stadium has also hosted matches for the IPL teams Pune Warriors India and Rising Pune Super Giants in the IPL, along with hosting several international matches for India across formats. The stadium also features LED flood lights and a sand-based outfield with an advanced rainwater drainage system, allowing play to resume shortly after heavy rain.

The surface has a composition of red soil with a dry layer at the top and is known for producing high-scoring games across formats. While traditionally offering variable bounce and being spin-friendly, in recent years, the stadium has been considered batting-friendly.
