Sabina Park, the 2nd oldest stadium in the West Indies, located in Kingston, Jamaica, hosted its 1st ever Test match in 1930; since then, this stadium has become the primary host for the country in the late ’90s. This stadium is named after Sabina Pen Park, an enslaved woman whose tragic story later gave her name to the estate.

The stadium can hold up to 20,000 spectators after undergoing renovations ahead of the 2007 World Cup. Floodlights were installed during the World Cup renovation, and it features two named ends: the Michael Holding End and the Courtney Walsh End. The stadium features a picturesque backdrop with the Blue Mountains to the north and Kingston Harbour; however, the majority of the backdrop was blocked during the renovations.

The pitch at Sabina Park is traditionally a fast wicket, helping out seamers big time with lightning-fast pace and uneven bounce, pushing the batters to the back foot. However, in recent years, the surface has slowed down, making it a balanced field, helping out batters a bit.
