Delhi Capitals (DC) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are ready to clash in the fourth match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 on March 24 at Visakhapatnam’s Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium.
Fresh captains and new-look squads have both teams pumped after the IPL 2025 mega auction. DC, led by Axar Patel, waved goodbye to Rishabh Pant and splashed INR 14 crore on KL Rahul to lift their batting. They have roped in Faf du Plessis for batting experience and Mitchell Starc to fire up their pace, though Rahul might sit out tonight due to personal reasons.
LSG, captained by Pant after his whopping INR 27 crore signing, ditched Rahul and stacked their side with big guns like David Miller and Mitchell Mash alongside explosive wicketkeeper-batter Nicholas Pooran.
LSG’s got headaches, though. Their primary pacers are injured. Mohsin Khan is ruled out of the tournament because of an ACL tear. Shardul Thakur has replaced him. Moreover, Avesh Khan, Akash Deep and Mayank Yadav are also sidelined because of injuries.
