Punjab Kings (PBKS) overseas contingent of Marcus Stoinis, Josh Inglish, Aaron Hardie and Kyle Jamieson will link up with the squad on Tuesday. All the players will be available for Punjab's next game against Delhi Capitals on May 26.
None of the players featured in Punjab's previous match against the Rajasthan Royals, that they won by 10 runs. While Stoinis, Inglis and Hardie were bought by Punjab at the mega auction, the Kiwi pacer replaced his fellow Kiwi pacer Lockie Ferguson who was ruled out with a knee injury.
Shreyas Iyer led the team to their first IPL playoffs after 11 years. The last time Punjab made the playoffs, they eventually played the final in 2014. PBKS are currently placed third on the IPL 2025 points table and will be pushing for a top-two finish. GT's win over DC ensured a playoff qualification for GT, RCB and PBKS. Mumbai and Delhi remain in contention for the final playoff spot.

PBKS Shuffled Their Overseas Players Throughout The Season
Meanwhile, Josh Inglis and Marcus Stoinis have not had a longer run with the Kings in the middle-order as they decided to keep shuffling their overseas players. Stoinis has scored 82 runs in seven innings at a strike rate of 167.34, while Inglis has hit 92 runs in six innings at a strike rate of 139.39. However, heading into the playoffs, PBKS will need the power and experience of Stoinis in the middle-order.
PBKS Can Finish League Stage With 21 Points And Push For Top-Two Finish
Against RR, he overseas players who played the game are Mitchell Own, Marco Jansen, Azmatullah Omarzai and Xavier Bartlett. After their game against DC on Saturday, PBKS have their final league stage game on Monday, May 26, against Mumbai Indians.
