The Yuzvendra Chahal-Dhanashree Verma divorce saga is taking a new turn almost every day. The matter has went viral on social media and has kept the fans and general public interested.
While the divorce between the two is now complete, there is a new story cropping up almost every day following the divorce. The divorce between the two celebrity couples is a big breaking news at the moment.
Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma had a mutual divorce last month. After living separately for 18 months the celebrity couple decided to get divorced in the last week of February. The root cause of the divorce was incompatibility between the two.
After both Dhanashree and Chahal denied solving the issues within themselves, it has been now reported that the couple's final hearing and all necessary formalities took place at the Bandra Family Court where both were physically present.
Chahal was then seen with RJ Mahvash in Dubai International Cricket Stadium enjoying the Champions Trophy final. Picture of the two went viral together and Chahal was criticised of moving on too quickly over Dhanashree Verma.
Post that, the entire alimony saga started with Chahal reportedly paying Dhanashree 4.75 crores. The Indian leg spinner has paid 2.37 crores and will pay the remaining amount in due course.
RJ Mahvash Speaks in Favour Of Yuzvendra Chahal
It looks like RJ Mahvash has spoken in favour of Yuzvendra Chahal in her recent post. On March 19, RJ Mahvash took to Instagram to share a message that read, “Jhut, lalach, aur fareb se parey hain..khuda ka shukr ainey aaj bhi khade hain…” (Beyond lies, greed, and deception… by God’s grace, we are still standing).
Meanwhile, amid all of this Yuzvendra Chahal will be turning up for the Punjab Kings in IPL 2025. The Kings roped him in for 18 crores in the IPL 2025 auction. He is currently the highest wicket-taker in the IPL with 205 scalps from 160 matches. Amid all the criticism, he will look to have a big season with the ball.
