Aditya Sarwate and Ahammed Imran Continue Their Rescue Act
Starting the session at 57/2, Sarwate and Imran showcased their grit, helping Kerala make a comeback in the match. Taking over from a precarious spot when Kerala were 14/2, the duo had already steadied the ship.
Sarwate brought up his fifty. His ability to perform in a pressure match displayed his temperament. Imran too was going strength to strength with his partner up until a point. After smashing a boundary on a pull shot off Yash Thakur, he again tried to execute the same shot but got taken at the mid-wicket region this time.
Kerala captain Sachin Baby joined Sarwate after Imran’s dismissal. They took Kerala to 131/3 in 39 overs before the day ended. Sarwate and Sachin are batting unbeaten on 66 and seven runs respectively with Kerala trailing by 248 runs.
