Former Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan was named the official brand ambassador for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The tournament begins from February 19 with hosts Pakistan taking on New Zealand in the campaign opener.
Meanwhile, Shikhar Dhawan is the third-highest run-getter in the ICC Champions Trophy. He scored 701 runs in the tournament including three centuries. Thus it is very fitting that the southpaw was named the brand ambassador for the tournament.

Dhawan won the golden bats in back to back editions of the Champions Trophy. He won the first golden bat in the 2013 Champions Trophy where he scored 363 runs in five games at an average of 90.75 including two hundreds and a fifty. In the 2017 edition, he scored with 338 runs at an average of 67.60 in five matches with two fifties and a hundred. In both editions, he ended as the top-scorer in the tournament.

India begin their Champions Trophy campaign against Bangladesh on February 20. The much anticipated India-Pakistan clash will be played in Dubai on March 23. The Men in Blue then take on the Kiwis on March 2. India will play all their matches in Dubai.
