Virat Kohli Unfollows Ranveer Allahbadia

Star Indian cricketer Virat Kohli has unfollowed Ranveer Allahbadia on Twitter after his recent controversy in the comedy show India's Got Latent. The show has been repeatedly called out for obscene and over-the-top comedy.

Samay Raina, who is the original host of the show invited Ranveer and a few other guests on the panel to roast a few of the contestants who participated in the show.

Ranveer's comments in the show has garnered him a lot of hate on social media. He and three other influencers including Samay are facing legal trouble over controversial remarks made on Samay Raina’s show. An FIR has been filed against him, Samay, Apoorva Makhija, Ashish Chachlani and the producers of 'India's Got Latent'. All four of them have been summoned to appear before the National Commission for Women (NCW) in New Delhi on February 17.

Meanwhile, as a result of the hate generated on Ranveer, Virat Kohli has now unfollowed him on Twitter. The former Indian skipper who is all aggressive on the field has a very good heart and is an example of humanity to mankind as well.

Apparently, Ranveer had made some cheap comments to one of the contestants where he said "Would you rather watch your parents have s*x every day for the rest of your life or join in once and stop it forever?"

Controversial India's Got Latent Episode Taken Down

The recent events might have not down with him well and the star Indian cricketer decided to unfollow the YouTube sensation on Twitter. The incident has had its retaliations on Ranveer who was also seen apologising in a viral video. He said that his comments were a lapse of judgment and that comedy is not his forte.

Also, Ranveer and Samay have issued their apologies, while the episode has been taken down on YouTube. India's Got Latent have deleted all the episodes from their channel.

Samay Raina on his behalf also issued a statement saying that the purpose of the show was to make people laugh and have a good time.

"Everything that is happening has been too much for me to handle. I have removed all India's Got Latent videos from my channel. My only objective was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly. Thank you," Mr Raina posted on X.
