After the thrilling opening match of the Women's Premier League (WPL) 2025 season three between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) & Gujarat Giants (GG), the action now shifts to the second game as Mumbai Indians (MI) will take on Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara. DC are the two-time runners-up and enter the tournament yet again as one of the favorites. While MI, who won the first WPL trophy in 2023 have managed to assemble a strong squad this time also.
DC will be led by Meg Lanning, and MI will be led by Harmanpreet Kaur. While all the DC's first-choice players are available, MI have been hit hard by injury to all-rounder Pooja Vastrakar. MI have roped in Parunika Sisodia in place of Vastrakar.

WPL 2025 Match 2: MI vs DC Pitch Report
The second WPL match between MI vs DC will be played at the newly built Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara. The pitch here is a belter of a batting deck, as was evidenced during the first RCB vs GG encounter. Even 202 was chased down in WPL match 1. So the batters will get value for shots. The Pacers will get some assistance during the power play. Dew will have a say, and hence teams winning the toss will opt to chase.
