While the 31-year-old did not justify the intent behind this post, fans speculate that he indirectly took a dig at Dhanashree. Meanwhile, the YouTuber posted a series of gym posts with a witty caption, "A cake is a must today."

As rumors intensified, Dhanashree addressed the growing rumors by issuing a strong statement. She shut the trollers down for spreading false rumors and called out those who attacked her character. The past few days have been extremely difficult for my family and me. "What’s truly disturbing is the baseless speculation and character assassination by anonymous trolls without fact-checking," she said.
Chahal also issued a strong statement and asked the media to give some privacy regarding the apparent rift between him and Dhanashree.
"As there are still many overs left to deliver for my country, my team, and my fans. While I am proud to be a sportsman, I am also a son, a brother, and a friend.
