Sri Lanka Masters will take on Australia Masters in the sixth match of International Masters League T20 2025 scheduled to take place at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara.
Sri Lanka Masters are currently placed third on the points table with one win as many as losses. Having two points in their tally, the Kumar Sangakkara-led side bounced back after losing their campaign-opener against India Masters.
In their previous outing, they flourished on all fronts. Sri Lanka restricted South Africa Masters to 180/6 on a batting-friendly pitch and then completed the run-chase in 17.2 overs with the help of Asela Gunaratne and Chinthaka Jayasinge's unbeaten fifties.
Australia Masters have featured in just one match in the tournament so far. They faced the West Indies Masters on Monday. In a match that was a run-fest, Australia Masters put up a score of 216/8 on the board, courtesy of Shane Watson’s hundred. The Aussie bowlers failed to defend the total as the West Indies reached the target in 19.2 overs.
