Inzamam-Ul-Haq Fires Massive Warning To PCB Amid Pakistan's Poor Performance In International Cricket

Inzamam-ul-Haq concerned about Pakistan Cricket

Former Pakistan skipper Inzamam-Ul-Haw has lashed out at the PCB for the waning condition of Pakistan cricket in recent times. The Men in Green are currently playing a T20I seres against New Zealand. They were bowled out for just 91 in the first T20I. In the second T20I, they scored 135/9 and ended up losing the game.

Pakistan recently hosted the ICC Champions Trophy where they were eliminated inside the first week of the tournament. For the ongoing T20I series against The Kiwis, the likes of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan were not included in the squad.

Both the batters are having a tough time. While Rizwan is coping a lot of criticism for not being able to lead his team in the Champions Trophy, Babar Azam is being mocked for his performance in the National T20 Cup. Major concerns are growing

Inzamam-Ul-Haq Sounded Concerned About Pakistan Cricket

Major concerns are growing within the PCB with the declining state of Pakistan cricket in the country. Meanwhile, Inzamam has fired an open warning saying that if the issues are not addressed, he cricketing graph of the nation would sink further.

"In the past two years, the performance of the Pakistan team has been on a decline. If we don't work in the right direction, we will continue to fall further," said Inzamam, as per Cricket Pakistan.

Constant changes within the administration and captaincy is one of the key reasons why Pakistan cricket has not progressed further feels Inzamam.

"Changing management, coaches, and players repeatedly will not solve the problem. We need to sit down and think about where the mistakes are being made. Instead of making too many changes, we need to think carefully about where things are going wrong. If there are constant changes, players won't gain the confidence they need, and the situation will remain the same," he further added.

Inzamam also shared a word on Babar Azam who has been at the center of criticism surrounding the national team. he has also failed to score runs consistently in recent times adding more pressure to himself. He wants the board to re-instill faith in its players and work with them to identify and correct the mistakes.

"Babar Azam is a top player. Everyone goes through a rough patch, but the national team hasn't been playing good cricket for the past few months. Trust the management and the players, and work together to identify where the mistakes are," he concluded saying.
