Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will battle it out against Gujarat Giants (GG) in match 12 of the Women's Premier League (WPL) on Thursday, February 27. After starting the WPL 2025 season with two wins on the bounce, RCB have stuttered and are on a two-match losing streak. Worst, the losses have come at home, and RCB would be eager to bounce back and try to give their fans something to cheer for.

However, in the two close losses against MI and UP, RCB looked clueless in the end stages of the game. In both the matches, the Smriti Mandhana-led side had the game in the pocket, only to botch up in the end. Worst, the runs are not flowing from Mandhana's blade as well.
Death bowling is a massive concern as Renuka Singh has failed to deliver so far at the death. Ellyse Perry was fit to bowl against UP, but strangely, skipper Mandhana went with Renuka to bowl the last over. RCB needs to find quick solutions to address death bowling concerns. Meanwhile, GG is yet again looking for inspiring performances from their Indian core. The likes of Meghana Singh, Kashvee Gautam, and Tanuja Kanwar have failed to deliver consistent performances.
